Interesting story of the rise, fall, and rise again of 🍰 Twinkies 🍰

Hostess logo with a red heart above the slogan The sweetest comeback in the history of ever on a red starburst.

In 2012, Hostess Brands, the makers of Twinkies, had a lot of issues with cash flow, hard market conditions, and with the union. No option but to file for bankruptcy and cease production.

Within a couple of days, people rush to the nearest stores and #stock up on their favourite cakes.

2013, there is a comeback. It was extremely hard for the new team to keep enough inventory as they focused on promoting the 'sweetest comeback in history'.

They also researched a lot to increase the #shelflife without affecting the quality and taste of the products. Twinkies went from 45 days of shelf file to 65 days.

This story underscores the importance of effective #inventorymanagement, strategic marketing, and continuous improvement in product quality.
