My learning moments from the video:

1. Freshworks started with low pricing, which helped them gain customers.
2. Girish learned from his boss that earning $1 is easier than earning Rs. 1. So, Freshworks went global instead of focusing only on India.
3. Hackernews helped them a lot. Girish shared their initial prototype on Hackernews, which was popular at the time, and they got a lot of attention.
4. It’s better to start by serving small and medium businesses (SMBs) and then move up to larger enterprises. The other way is not possible.
5. In the US, customer acquisition costs (CAC) can be divided into two parts: 2/3 go to sales and 1/3 to marketing.
6. Freshworks found success with SEO because their product was easy to use and didn't need salespeople. This concept is similar to product-led growth (PLG).
7. They initially focused on SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Now, they focus on GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
8. Girish shares that it's important to do reference checks when hiring. Some candidates may look good on paper but might not fit the company culture.
Have a blast ⭐
